Singer/Songwriter/Music Producer

Pete Townson is a Singer/Songwriter/Music Producer based in Nambour, QLD.

Born and bred in Nambour, Pete Townson has been performing as a singer-songwriter for close on 30 years. Classically trained in piano, guitar, violin and vocals from age 6, Pete spent his teenage years busking outside Sunshine Coast pubs and shopping centres, performing in local eisteddfods and singing up a storm in the local gospel choir every Sunday. Pete is also a prolific songwriter, w...ith a number of his songs receiving local and national radio play. Pete is currently recording a new album at his Nambour-based studio, ElevenPM due for release in late 2014 . Petes diversity as a performer has seen him entertain at renowned venues including Sheraton Noosa, Novatel Twin Waters, Eumundi Markets and the Woodford Folk Festival and extended solo residencies at Cafe Le Monde, Castros, Cafe Mediterranean and Voodoo’s.
